Refund & Cancellation Policy

ImportedCV (importedcv.com) is a digital software-as-a-service platform. We sell digital credits that are consumed instantly to deliver AI-generated output (ATS scans, optimized resumes, and AI Resume Builder downloads). Because of the nature of these digital goods, the following refund and cancellation rules apply to all purchases made on our website via Razorpay or any other payment processor.

1. Digital Goods — No Refunds on Credits

  • All credit purchases — including ATS Scan Credit (₹49), Download Credit (₹199), Combo Credit (₹229), and AI Resume Builder credits — are non-refundable once payment is captured.
  • Credits are delivered instantly to your account on successful payment and may be consumed immediately, which makes reversal impossible.
  • Unused credits do not expire under normal use; they expire only if the account is terminated for violation of our Terms.

2. No Cancellation After Payment

We do not offer a cancellation window after a successful payment, because credits are added to your account and made usable immediately. You may stop using the Service at any time, but consumed or non-consumed credits will not be refunded.

3. Account Binding

  • Credits are non-transferable between accounts or users.
  • Credits belong only to the purchasing account and have no cash value.
  • We cannot move credits between accounts under any circumstances.

4. Failed Payments & Duplicate Charges

If your account was charged but credits were not added within 30 minutes due to a verified system error, or if you were charged twice for the same purchase, contact support@importedcv.com within 7 days of the transaction with:

  • Your registered email address
  • Razorpay payment / order ID
  • Date and amount of the transaction
  • A brief description of the issue

Verified system-error duplicate charges are reviewed case-by-case and, if confirmed, refunded to the original payment method within 5–10 business days via Razorpay.

5. Failed Razorpay Transactions

If a Razorpay transaction fails on its own (e.g., payment declined, network error) and no credit was added to your account, no charge will appear on your statement; if a pending hold appears, it is typically released by your bank within 5–7 business days. This is handled directly by Razorpay and your bank — there is no separate refund required from us.

6. AI Output Quality

AI-generated results (ATS scores, recruiter insights, rewritten resume content) may vary between scans and are not guaranteed to produce a specific score or job outcome. Variation in AI output quality is not grounds for a refund. Please review the free preview features before purchasing.

7. Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact support@importedcv.com before initiating a chargeback through your bank. Filing a chargeback in violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of any remaining credits.

8. Contact for Disputes

All refund requests and payment disputes must be sent to support@importedcv.com. We respond to all eligible requests within 24–48 business hours.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version, with the "Last updated" date, will always be available on this page.
