These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ImportedCV website (importedcv.com) and the related AI-powered resume analysis and resume builder services (collectively, the "Service") operated by ImportedCV ("ImportedCV", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service
ImportedCV is a software-as-a-service platform that enables job seekers to upload an existing resume or build a new one, run AI-driven Applicant Tracking System (ATS) compatibility scans against a target job description, view recruiter-style insights, and download an optimized resume in PDF format. All Service delivery is fully digital — there is no physical product, no shipping, and no offline component.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
- You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- One account per individual. Sharing, reselling, or transferring accounts is prohibited.
4. Pricing & Payment Terms
- All prices are listed on the Service in INR (₹) for customers in India and USD ($) for international customers, and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payments in India are processed securely via Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers, CVV, or UPI credentials on our servers.
- Credits available include: ATS Scan Credit, Resume Download Credit, Combo Credit, and AI Resume Builder credits, as listed on the pricing section of the site.
- A purchase is considered complete when the payment is successfully captured and the corresponding credit is added to your account, which typically occurs within seconds.
- If a payment is debited but credits are not added within 30 minutes, contact support@importedcv.com with your order/payment ID.
5. Credits & Entitlements
- 1 ATS Scan Credit unlocks 1 ATS analysis scan.
- 1 Download Credit permanently unlocks 1 specific optimized resume for unlimited future viewing and download by the owning account.
- Combo Credit bundles 1 scan + 1 download for the same session.
- Builder Credits unlock AI resume builder generation and download for the owning account.
- Credits are non-transferable, are tied solely to the purchasing account, and cannot be moved between accounts under any circumstances.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. Refunds & Cancellations
Because credits are digital goods that are consumed instantly to deliver AI-generated output, all purchases are non-refundableonce a payment is captured. Verified system-error duplicate charges are reviewed case-by-case. Full details are available in our Refund Policy.
7. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use
- You will use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- You will only upload resume content and job descriptions that you own or have the right to use.
- You will not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, malicious, or contains another person's confidential information without consent.
- You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, decompile, probe, or otherwise circumvent the Service, its billing systems, or its rate limits.
- You will not use the Service to send spam, run automated bots, or generate content for fraudulent job applications or impersonation.
- You will not share, resell, or sublicense the Service or AI-generated output as a competing product.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the resume content you upload. By using the Service you grant ImportedCV a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you. ImportedCV grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the AI-generated output for your own job-search purposes. All trademarks, logos, software, and design elements of ImportedCV remain our exclusive property.
9. AI Disclaimer
ATS scores, recruiter insights, and rewritten resume content are generated by third-party AI models and are provided for informational purposes only. Results may vary between scans and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or to result in job interviews or offers. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated output before submitting it to any employer.
10. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (payment, AI, hosting providers), or events beyond our reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ImportedCV's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the total amount you paid to ImportedCV in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost job opportunities.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity (including chargeback abuse). Any unused credits in a terminated account are forfeit and non-refundable. You may stop using the Service at any time; deletion of your account can be requested via support@importedcv.com.
14. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
